Ideas Exchange Seminars 2012

Learn from the experiences of the sector’s leading providers, partners and suppliers, at the Ideas Exchange free seminars. Packed with practical tips and innovative solutions, these seminars will focus on asset management, sustainability and resident engagement. With PfH Live running alongside the CIH Housing Exhibition, attendees are also free to attend PfH seminars.

Ideas Exchange seminars are open to exhibition visitors, conference delegates and exhibitors. Places do not need to be pre-booked but turn up early as they’re sure to be popular. The Ideas Exchange and PfH Live seminars are located in the Central Foyer (the main entrance hall at Manchester Central).

Whole house carbon and energy reduction in hard-to-treat older properties
£2-3bn is wasted every year due to poorly insulated properties. The WHISCERS system has been developed to treat the estimated 55% of homes that fall into the “hard to treat” category. This process enables internal insulation to be installed with the residents in-situ, dramatically speeds up installation and reduces waste.

A high-rise transformation – 1960s tower block retrofit
